Jet Box Baseball Club (JBBC) was started by taking our passion for the game of baseball and the successful legacy of Jim Corte's Jet Box Baseball amateur adult team (founded in 1969) to help kids in youth baseball maximize their potential. With an established network of current & former professional & amateur players available for assistance, we believe JBBC utilizes an effective system for maximizing talent and the understanding of what is ultimately necessary for achieving entry into Major League Baseball.

To us, baseball represents the perfect combination of physical and mental skills. JBBC has the experience and knowledge to create the tools necessary for kids to excel at all aspects of this combination: fielding/throwing, hitting, base running, pitching, and game management.

As president, I strive to achieve three main goals for JBBC:
  1. Exist as a premiere youth baseball organization in Southeastern Michigan
  2. Organize and maintain federation baseball teams at all youth age levels 8U through 18U
  3. Become part of the preferred roadmap to high school & college baseball programs.

My Credentials:
  • Established JBBC in 2003.
  • July 2009: Member of a collaborated team of former professional and Olympic baseball players who conducted camps for pre-teen kids in Athens, Greece. These camps promoted baseball interest and fundamentals, culminating in a cross-country good will game with Bulgarian players.
  • 2007 - Present: Organize and conduct multiple day baseball clinics for little leagues in several Southeastern Michigan cities.
  • 2001 - Present: Manager of Little League & Federation teams in Oakland County.
  • 25-year veteran player of Jet Box semi-pro baseball team as a middle infielder.
  • 1985-1988: Member and Captain of the University of Detroit Division I baseball team as a middle infielder.
  • Staff instructor at Extra Innings indoor baseball facility in Macomb County.
  • Specialized in hitting, infield, and outfield fundamentals instruction.
