Larry is the coach for the 2010, Jet Box Baseball 14U Macomb team. He graduated from Detroit Servite in 1972 and was drafted to play professional baseball. He spent 17 years with the New York Mets, San Diego Padres and the Detroit tigers where he played under Jim Leyland. He also played several years in the Mexican League where he pitched a no hitter and won a world series.
Larry has been Jet Box Baseball Clubs pitching instructor since its start in 2002. He still plays at the semi pro level with the Jet Box Senior team where he holds the current record for appearances and saves.
He coached the 2009, Jet Box Baseball 13U Macomb team to a 10-10 record in the league and recently won the s009 Bedford, MI Invitational Tournament Championship. He is known as one of the best pitching instructprs in the country with over 20 of his students earning starting positions at several Michigan high schools like De Lasele, Country Day and Catholic Central.
