Cliff Howe graduated from Carl Brablec High School in1984. He received all league 1st team 8 times and made the all state team in football , basketball and baseball 5 times. Cliff set a school record by earning 9 varsity letters and was voted outstanding male athlete and awarded m.v.p. all 3 years of baseball. Cliff received a full scholarship to Macomb Community College and played there 1985-1986. He earned an associates degree in electrical service technology. He went on to play at Wayne State University 1987-1988. He received an invite to the Detroit Tigers spring training and the New York Yankees camp in 1988-1989. Cliff played 3 years in the MABF for the Kansas City Royals where he met coach Larry. we went on to play in the Pontiac semi - pro league for the Baltimore Orioles from 1990-1993 he joined Jet Box in 1994. With Jet Box they won 9 regional championships and 10 league titles. They also won the NABF National Championship in 1997 and again in 2007, along with the Roy Hobbs World Series in 2007. In 2008 they were ranked #1 in the country and won the national semi-pro world series.
This year will be Cliff's 16th year with Jet Box. From 1995-1998 he was a hitting/catching instructor for the Toronto Blue Jays Ernie Whitt Baseball Academy. From 1999-2002 worked with the Detroit Tigers Jeff Jones All Star Baseball Camp. In 2007 Cliff started the first youth team in the Jet Box Baseball organization. He became the head of youth baseball for Jet Box. In 2010, his goal is to have a team in every age group within the next few years.
Cliff loves to teach and finds it is very rewarding to watch how young players improve.
